read more For the past few years, Christian has been moving like a pirate. "I carry canvas wherever I go, painting on tables, walls, or any surface I can temporarily claim. I don't fully belong to one place anymore."

The sun and bodies of water became his compass. The people he met along the way became his anchor.

His ship has stopped in Lausanne; after Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey. This exhibition traces that journey through the first quarter of 2026, the period when the world began to look different.

The sun, he noticed, was growing angry.
The way humans were moving through the world, through ecosystems, through each other, was a slow destruction.
He watched it the way you watch a fire from a distance;
close enough to feel the heat, too far to do anything but bear witness.

What you witness long enough, you eventually become.
He is still following the sun.
Still landing on the mirage.
